Greek Spartan "Molon Labe" (Come and Take It!) 3x5' Flag

 The Greek Spartans were known for their ferocity in battle.   This flag features the Spartan helmet with the quote, "Molon Labe" which translates to "come and take it!" in reference to the defiant response of King Leonidas I of Sparta to Persian King Xerxes when Xerxes demanded that the Greek warriors lay down their arms as they blocked the vast Persian army's path to Athens.  This led to the famous battle of "Thermopylae" where the small Greek contingent fought to the death and inflicted heavy casualties on a much larger Persian army.   They delayed the Persians three days which gave the mainland Greek army sufficient time to prepare and ultimately defeat the Persian King Xerxes and his invading army.
